February 2008 -- A
number of important international water-related conferences are being scheduled
for the first half of 2008 and the International Private Water Association (IPWA)
has published a select list of water infrastructure-related seminars and
conferences.
"These programs are being produced by organizations with a track record
for delivering result-focused informative presentations and discussions about
the challenges and opportunities within the global water/wastewater and
sanitation infrastructure project and service sectors including project
development, project delivery,
financing, asset management, and regulatory frameworks," said IPWA
Executive Director Kathy Shandling.
The International Private Water
Association (IPWA) serves as a
conduit between public and private sector players – facilitating effective and
timely dialogues that highlight the critical need for speed, transparency, and
cost-effectiveness in the development and operations of global water/wastewater
and sanitation projects, and the practical means of achieving those elements in
projects.
