Gwendolyn Stamper (r.)
graduated from the University of Richmond with honors in Political Science and
Philosophy. She has been nominated for the Peace Corps. Her
sister, Genevieve, (c.) flew in from Roma, Italy, for the graduation.

On 4 May,
Gwendolyn, 22, graduated from the University of Richmond with honors in
political science and philosophy; she has been nominated for the Peace Corps.
She also studied at the London School of Economics.
She has been invited to
deliver a paper on Economic Structural Readjustment in Sub-Saharan Africa to
the International Studies Association during June, 2003 in Budapest, Hungary.
She
has published an article, “Asymmetric War? Implications For China’s
Information Warfare Strategies,” American Asian Review (December
2002) [with Prof. Vincent Wei-cheng Wang].
She has presented the
following papers: "Asymmetric War? Implications Of China's Information
Warfare Strategies," at the 43rd Annual Meeting of the International
Studies Association, 24-27 March 2002, New Orleans,
[with Prof. Vincent Wei-cheng Wang].
"China's Information
Warfare Strategies: Implications Of Asymmetric War," paper presented at
the 73rd Annual Meeting of the Southern Political Science Association,
Atlanta, 7-10 November 2001 ) [with
Prof. Vincent Wei-cheng Wang].
As
part of her senior year at the University of Richmond she was an Intern
Lobbyist at the Virginia State House for Planned Parenthood.
Both
Gwendolyn and Genevieve, Vassar '00, are diplomatic associates with their
father.
