The Following is a
description of a major event at the UN celebrating the 20th
anniversary of Esquipulas II, the peace treaty that ended the conflicts in
Central America
to be held on June 13, 2007. The event is co-sponsored by the Schweitzer Institute
and the Arias Foundation, which have consultative
status with the United Nations, and by the U.N. Office of Disarmament Affairs. The cost is
free and anyone can attend the events during the day. PLEASE
